봄방학 글로벌 참여 프로그램 1: 남아공 공중 보건
Public Health in South Africa ????????
Choate’s Global Engagement Program and CIEE collaborated for a spring break program in Cape Town, South Africa, focusing on public health and wellness. Students explored public health initiatives, visited cultural sites, and engaged in community work, including visits to the Cape Town Company Gardens, Bo-Kaap neighborhood, Langa township, and the Heart of Cape Town Museum.
이번 봄방학 기간동안 Choate의 글로벌 참여 프로그램과 *CIEE가 협업하여 남아공 케이프타운에서 공중 보건과 건강에 초점을 맞춘 프로그램을 진행하였습니다. 학생들은 공중보건 계획들을 탐구하고, 컴퍼니 정원, 보카프 동네 (Bo-Kaap), 랑가 타운쉽, 케이프타운 박물관 등 현지 문화와 삶의 방식을 경험할 수 있는 여러 문화 유적지들을 방문했으며, 지역사회 봉사활동을 하였습니다.

Choate’s Global Engagement Program partnered with Borderlinks for a trip to Arizona this spring break. Participating students deepened their understanding of borders, migration, and social justice along the US/Mexico border.
이번 봄 방학에 Choate 글로벌 참여 프로그램은 Borderlinks와의 협업하에 아리조나로 향했습니다. 참여한 학생들은 미국과 멕시코의 국경을 답사하며 국경과 이민에 대해 더 깊게 생각하고 이해하게 되었으며, 또한 사회 정의에 대하여 깊게 생각해 보는 시간을 가졌습니다.

봄방학 글로벌 참여 프로그램 3: 쿠바
Choate’s Global Engagement Program partnered with Spanish Studies Abroad this spring break with a trip to Cuba for an intimate look at Cuban society. Participants stayed in a residencia, learned from local experts, took walking tours, interacted with locals through activities such as school and non-profit exchanges, and engaged in hands-on activities like cooking, salsa classes, and workshops to deepen their understanding of Cuban culture.
초트의 글로벌 참여 프로그램은 이번 봄 방학에 SSA (Spanish Studies Abroad) 프로그램과 협력하여 쿠바 사회를 깊이 있게 살펴보기 위해 쿠바로 향했습니다. 참가자들은 residencia (현지숙소)에 머무르면서 현지 전문가로부터 쿠바 사회에 대해 배우며, 도보 관광을 하고, 학교 및 비영리 기관 교류와 같은 활동을 통해 현지인들과 소통하였습니다. 또한 쿠바 문화에 대해 더 깊게 이해하기 위하여 전통음식 요리, 살사 수업 및 관련 워크샵을 진행하였습니다.
